According to the athletics event coordinator, Mutiu Oluwa, the resumption of schools would be an added advantage in gaining access to school sports training facilities.

“We are happy for schools to resume two weeks before the competition, this would give students the opportunity to use the schools’ sports facilities to prepare for the competition. At home, Games masters and students are disabled to access training facilities,” Oluwa said.
