Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU), a Las Vegas-based financial institution celebrating more than 70 years of serving its members, has nominated 13 talented students, K-12, for their winning submissions to the 2022 Happy Times calendar. This marks the calendar’s 36th anniversary. annual of the SSSCU. Students from across Southern Nevada were invited to create works of art that make them happy, with one winner selected in each grade from K-12 to be featured in the Silver State Schools CU People Over Profit (POP ) Foundation and the Silver State Schools Credit Union Annual Calendar.
The winning students and teachers were honored at the Happy Times Calendar Awards Ceremony on Monday, December 13, 2021. The winning students received their original framed artwork along with a check for $100, and their teachers art will also receive a check for $100 to use for art supplies for their class. Winning pieces will be on display year-round at the Westcliff branch and Tule Springs branch of the Silver State Schools Credit Union. The 36th Annual Happy Times Calendar will be available at any of our ten Southern Nevada locations. Members can get one Happy Times calendar per primary membership. Additional calendars can be purchased for $2.00 each, with 100% of proceeds going to the People Over Profit (POP) Foundation, the charitable arm of Silver State Schools Credit Union, while supplies last.
