Homes for sale near top London public schools for under £650,000

Ondon’s top schools are a huge driver of the capital’s housing market, with homes close to the top primary and secondary schools typically commanding significant premiums.

Indeed, in March, law firm Simpson Millar found that properties in school catchment areas classified as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted had an average price of £654,289, 20% more than the new average from the city of £543,517.

Gospel Oak Primary School near Hampstead Heath is the most expensive to live in, with parents living in the same postcode paying an average of £1.7million.

But luckily, there are equally excellent schools – all equally rated “outstanding” – within walking distance of family homes that cost much less.
