CITY OF COTABATO – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) recognized the Bangsamoro Development Academy-Center for Training and Assessment (DAB-CTA) as a Learning and Development Institution (L&D).
“This was confirmed by the CSC in a statement sent to us,” DAB executive director Hisham S. Nando said on Friday.
He said the CSC press release dated September 22 puts DAB-CTA on par with other government training institutions in the country such as the Civil Service Institute (CSI), CSC regional offices, the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), TESDA, and other institutions of the University of the Philippines.
“This recognition serves as proof of our commitment to institutionalize the powers and functions of the DAB, guided by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) policy on moral governance,” Nando said.
Based on the BARMM Civil Service Code and the guidelines set by CSC Res. n ° 2100 200 s. 2021, training provided by CSC-recognized learning and development institutions can be used to meet the training requirements of all candidates for public service.
“These training series now include those conducted by DAB,” said Nando.
